Each Team of two players will receive one ETB of Black Bolt, and one ETB of White Flare. The two players will then open these ETBs and create from them two separate 40 card decks. Due to the limited nature of your card pool, these decks will use Mutant evolution rules. Meaning that once per turn each player may evolve one of their Basic Pokemon into any other stage one Pokémon,(or a stage 1 into a stage 2) as long as they are the same Type. Grass to Grass, Fire to Fire, etc..
The basic energy in your deck will still function normally, so energy type matters.
After a 60min build period, teams will then go head to head using the Team Battle alternative play format (modified for a 40 card deck) for three, best of one, 60min rouds.
The cost of entry for the event is $75 per player, or $150 per team.
This is because both First and Second place teams will receive an ETB of Black Bolt and an ETB of White Flare!!!
Registration for the event will open at Noon, and we will start the build process at 1pm.
Round one will begin at 2pm.

'Damaged condition cards show obvious tears, bends, or creases that could make the card illegal for tournament play, even when sleeved. Damaged condition cards have massive border wear, possible writing or major inking (ex. white-bordered cards with black-markered front borders), massive corner wear, prevalent scratching, folds, creases or tears.
